Very glad we engaged Hotspace for our project. We wanted to know that money spent on the exterior would get the ‘transformation’ result we were after. We had our ideas but also had our doubts on how it would all come together. Jane took our ideas to the next level to come up with a fantastic and achievable design, with plenty of detail so we could pass the plan to the builder to execute. We are very happy with the end result of our project now the renovation is complete.

It’s been an absolute delight working with Hotspace Consultants.
We had been in the process of renovating our house earlier this year. The internal changes were going to be great but we were concerned that the façade would be a ‘let down’ if we didn’t modernise it. So we spent months collecting photos of houses we really liked and sketching ideas for our builder, but we couldn’t quite nail it.
Then we came across Hotspace. (Thank goodness!)
Jane took all our thoughts and ideas, photos and sketches and created something incredible. When there were issues with bringing the design to fruition due to structural concerns, Jane and Cherie made the required changes straight away and Jane was more than happy to liaise with our builder.
In addition to façade design, Jane also had fabulous recommendations for the front yard.
We’re just a few months away from completing the renovation and I can’t wait to show Jane and Cherie the finished product.

From the initial chat through to the detailed design process, each step has been seamless which has been so valuable as we are very busy with work and family commitments. We are absolutely stoked with the final design – we feel that whilst Jane took on board our thoughts and preferences, she came up with an original design that we could not have even imagined. Prior to contacting Jane & her team , we were apprehensive & nervous. Would Jane “get” our ideas, would she understand what we wanted & didn’t want? Would she be honest and tell us if something was down right not going to work or look great and give us her ideas & thoughts? On our first Zoom and subsequent meetings, Jane did all of the above and more… Thank you Jane for producing a final design we love , knowing as we continue to push forward with our project it will be a home we will enjoy coming home to.

Finally we have a facade concept that will make us proud to call our house our own. Every time we drive up our driveway we feel deflated. We have made several attempts, and enlisted other services to rectify our sad facade with little success. Jane knew exactly what we wanted to achieve, was sensible in her approach and our budget. We feel the facade concept will be easily achieved and can’t wait to drive up our driveway and love the house we live In. Thank you Jane.

Beyond knowing that our tired looking house desperately needed a fascade redesign, we were at a complete loss as to how to approach it.

For years we struggled to work out what to do with our backyard. Spoken to a number of builders and explored different ideas, but nothing ever felt quite right or inspired us to move forward.
We’d made a few improvements along the way, but without an overall vision. I found Jane by chance while researching rendering. I came across one of her articles explaining why rendering isn’t always the best solution, and that led me to her website.
Jane created designs for both our front and backyard, and the transformation has been incredible. Our backyard has become a space that flows beautifully, feels cohesive and is somewhere we love spending time.
Our front yard is almost complete, and it has completely changed the look of our home. What I particularly love is that Jane designed it with the future in mind. She thoughtfully incorporated features that will allow us to age comfortably in our home, with easy access and good mobility, without those elements ever looking obvious. It’s beautifully integrated into the design and gives us confidence that this is a home we can enjoy for many years to come.
