Do you visit my property in person?
We’ve been designing façades “from a distance” for 14 years, long before video conferencing was cool. There are two ways we make it work:
- For renovations or extensions, we’ll send a technician to your property to do a 3D scan, which gives us all the measurements we need, down to the millimetre! (Far more accurate than measuring by hand.) For new builds, we’ll request any architectural drawings or building documents from you.
- You’ll be guided through our finely-tuned process for collecting your desired project objectives, inspiration images, important lifestyle details, and more. We’ll have all the info we need to create a timeless Façade Design Plan that is personal, to-budget, and ready to hand off to your builder, trades, or drafty.
Will the result feel like me?
Absolutely. Our process is founded on a collaborative approach for precisely that reason. It’s your home, and you deserve to be heard and represented in the design. How do I know if my home’s façade can really be transformed?
We love this question, because we have yet to meet a home that didn’t have potential. What if the design is beautiful but too expensive to build?
We consider it our responsibility to ensure that never happens. Your early conversations with Jane will include discussing your desired investment and what is feasible with that number. If it can’t be done, she’ll tell you. If it can, she’ll be sure you receive a design that fits the bill. Literally.
I’m afraid to make an expensive mistake. What do you advise?
You’re wise to be wary, because renovating a façade is not cheap – and you don’t want it to be (otherwise you’ll be doubling up and doing it again in no time). This is why hiring a professional, like Jane, is so important.
