How to Design your Dream Kitchen

Jane Eyles-Bennett - Monday, July 17, 2017

The kitchen and living spaces are typically the hub of your house; and whether the others in the 'hub' are helping or just watching, it’s often where you'll connect and bond after a day at the office or school. Most people prefer an open plan layout for this reason; simply to fit all the people who want to congregate there. Caesar Road, Ferny Hills

A fabulous transformation we're sure you'll agree. This property was being renovated to sell, so our client called on us to help them create a home that would appeal to as many potential buyers as possible.

Every dollar these guys spent was on adding value and creating a uniqueness that just wasn't there before; increasing their pool of buyers within their target markets demographic.

Currently on the market for offers over $619,000 (will post an update when sold), this property was purchased for $320,000 seven months ago. Renovation spend was $105k (paying trades to do the work - ie no DIY at all) including a new ensuite upstairs, 2x new bedrooms within an existing downstairs rumpus area and a very generous sum allocated to retaining walls around the property.

Hopefully I'll report in the near future that this property has sold at or near the asking price and our clients benefit from a $175,000 or so profit (after selling costs but before tax) from their efforts!
