Two-storey home renovations

Renovating the facade of a two-storey home is entirely different to renovating the facade of a one-storey home. Use these top tips to make sure your two-storey home reno looks the best it possibly can…

Create a visual anchor
If you were to stand on the road and look along the driveway towards your house, you should be able to get an idea of how your property presents, and how much ‘visual anchoring’ it needs. To visually anchor a property is to give it a sense that the house is anchored in place. $70,000 Profit in 6 weeks!

Just got a nice email from a client of mine who I did a Renovation Action Plan for on a cheap-ish property in Toowoomba, Queensland. She followed her plan to the 'T'. Just goes to show you can still make some good money on lower end properties! She says...

"...The reno was completed in 6 weeks and rented for $265/wk within three days of being advertised on the internet. I had a new appraisal done by an agent and it came in at $240,000. The original purchase price was $135,000 and the total reno cost was $35,000. We are so pleased with the overall result and l would definately use your services again. Thank you"
